cannot sync Schedule, Address list, Tasks and Onenote. I'm using Win8Pro+MC 圆4(Japanese), Outlook2007 and WM6.5 device(WS027SH). You are making it hard for me to remain loyal to you! Phone (in lieu of Windows) is the ultimate solution. This kind of problem makes you think that moving accross to an Anroid I can't fully make the move accross from Windows 7 as synching Outlook contacts etc between office, mobile and home computer is a major function for me and in fact for many people I know. Not to mention start up / access times etc. I want to use Windowes 8 exclusively - as everything else performs beautifully - certainly much better than the same applications used in Windows 7. Partition (thankfully!!) and the sync performs flawlessly.
Interestingly, I still have Windows 7 installed on my computer but on a different the new HTC Windows Phone 8X relies on the Windows Phone app which will install automatically when connected by a USB. The new Windows phones they will not rely on WMDC e.g.
#HTC SYNC MANAGER ERROR 32 HOW TO#
I am fresh out of ideas on how to resolve this VERY annoying problem. I also invoked the scanpst.exe function and "repaired" my Outlook pst file. V3.5 which is by default disabled in Windows 8 fresh installation: that didn't work either. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this problem including uninstalling and re-installing WMDC and Outlook, as well as full factory reset on my phone. Which I did - they had no idea how to resolve the probelm. When called by phone, the Microsoft technical adviser (whom assured me my HTC HD2 phone was 100% compatible in the Windows 8 environment) sugggested I contact my phone manufacturer (HTC) The device on Windows Explorer (and even transfer files to and from!).
I keep on getting the same error message even though I have successfully created a partnership and can see I cannot sync anything to Outlook (calendars, contacts, notes, etc) on my 64 bit computer from my mobile phone using WMDC.
